Box

Yesterday while gathering
recyclables up to take off
(and has yet to be gone) I sat
this box on the table outside
nect to the recycle stuff on the
deck.

Look who took it over.

We know cats love boxes....

Well Lily loves to sit on
the table out on the deck
and having a box on it
to get in is all
the better I
guess.

Pic below was taken
this morning while
I drank my coffee.

Feeling Better and Being Silly

Thank you everyone that
has checked on Dakota...

He is a lot better. He had a rough
day that one day and then the
next he was sort of out of sorts.
But then that evening he was up
and back playing and eating.

Yesterday Silly Lily Bit
was stealing chicken
and peas off her brothers
plate. She did not eat
the carrot.

Yes, Dakota has his very own Goodwill
plates. Really heavy like the
ones  you used to find at
restaurants.

Yes, that is a short glass turned
upside down in the center of
his plate....
this slows down his eating
so that he can't inhale his food.
Dakota eats really fast and that
is what leads to him having
tummy aches. I used to
feed him in a bowl but that was way
to easy to inhale the food.

Lily got behind the washer
and dryer the other day and
when I went looking for her,
I found her in an empty box. So
I pulled that out, cut an opening
and applied a curtain...

SILLY LILY!

Sick Baby and Silly Girl

Yesterday Dakota was not feeling
well. He had a messed up tummy.

But silly Lily was silly Lily...
she has taken over my chair
since I have not been doing
a lot of deck time lately.

Day Without Dakota

Once a week Dakota goes to my
mom's house and spends the night
so that he can play with her babes.

Lily misses him when he is gone.
But with cool temps she is hanging
on the deck all day. She only came
in for an hour yesterday when I went
to get Dakota.
That means from six to about six!
HAHA

But she was well entertained. The birds
are very active this time of yr.
and she watched them
ALL DAY~

And this is her once she was
all worn out from her
bird watching day.

FURBABES

Course TWO of my fave furbabes are
Dakota AKA
THE KING
and Tiger Lily AKA Lily Bit.

Look at those faces!

Now I am going to share the barn
furbabes..
Princess.
Amazing EYES.

She is the sweetest.
Last one of the four that were
at the barn last yr at this time to trust
me. Now she is always there to greet me.

She would make a great indoor cat
and probably a good lap one.
She loves her head rubbed...and not easy.

Here is Princess' sister Tigress.
My fave.

 Tigress is a doll.
Also loves her head rubbed hard but
a tad more stand offish.

But oh so pretty.

Of course there was a brother Socks
but we lost him a few months ago.

There is also the Tortie that was a drop
off. She is also the one
that had the skin issue from the
fleas. I was about a week late treating
her and I noticed she had a raw spot
starting. Got her treated yesterday.

I started out calling her Brandua since that is
the road she was dropped on but later
decided Shadow would be better.

She is so thankful for the love and attention
that when I drive up to the barn
she is the first to meet me...
MEOWING up a storm.

Now for the biggest furbabe...or hair babe?
My Misfire.
Isn't she so pretty?

She is a mess. There are two
bigger horse I bring in on a lead line
at the end of the day.
They are MALES...enough said.
They are active and you have to be
careful of them cause of their size.

They come in first...why?
Cause they will not have it anyother
way and they are big enough that I don't
try to change their mind often.
Third to go in is Misfire. I open
the gate and tell her to go to her stall and
in she goes.

Then I bring in Lily and Scout.
I don't have to walk them in on
a lead line, I just grab their halter
and walk them in.
All sweet in their own way.

Hope you enjoyed the babes!

SIlly Lily Being SIlly Lily

Check her out....

Peek a Boo
Mom!

I have a screened in deck but
somehow a grasshopper
got on there...
and Lily found it bringing
it to the kitchen.

She looks so different with the
ears pulled back.

It was dead, she lost
interest fast so it ended
up in the trash!

OH ...these two make my heart
sing!

Dakota's Followering

For years I have shared my
best bud on FB or
blogs.
On FB he always had a great
following.

My friend Therea's sister
has always loved him.
Then when Lily came a long
she fell for her too...

But not until the other night
had Margaret, T's sister
got to meet Dakota.

He is not a social dog.
He don't like many.
It took years for him to like
Theresa.
He greeted Margaret and hubby
the way he greets all.
Growling...
LOUDLY.
Not wanting them in the yard.
However I have taught him
that if I let them in the yard,
on the porch or in the
house all is well...

And as you can see, a little
stracthing and belly rubbing
and she won him over.
