Subtle Hint

Those of you that have cats or have had
cats know that they STARE a lot.

Took a bit for me to get used to Lily
staring at me. But I had adjusted..

Then came the red lighted laser pointer!
I play and play and play with her and the
pointer but when I put it down the above
pic is what I get. When I ask her what she wants
she looks down at the floor (where the red light
dances around)...HINT, HINT...HINT Mom...

Furbabes as Santa's Helper

Well life with a cat is fun, interesting
and can get on your nerves esp
if you are trying to wrap gifts!

HAHA....I however did not let her
get on my nerves....I just LAUGH!

And I laughed even harder doing pics
of the babes with Santa hats.

I woke Lily to put the hat on her and
Dakota just said to heck with it all.

This pic was after a hard morning.
They both curled up next to mom to

SO SWEET....when asleep!

And here....Misfire was a lot like
Dakota, she wanted NO PART
of playing Santa's helper!

Hence...pic was taken before I
brushed her down, she had been rowing
around in the pasture.

Speaking of furbabes...
two of the barn babes. If you look to the
top of the pic you will see my
fancy barn boots!

These two, esp the gray one stays
right with me while I am there.
They beg to be petted and once I have
done all the horse chores I sat on
a stool in the barn and pet them.
The black tortie (not shown) and the
gray one has started meeting me half
way down the driveway when I pull in...
they come running. If the pigs are out
they come running also.

The furbabes thank you for stopping in and
they love your comments.

New Cat Tree

Mom got Lily a new cat

At first she was not so crazy about it
but I think it had a factory smell she did not
like...but she is up and on it more and more.

Miss Nosey

I know that it is hard to look at
these pics and relate to the fact
that yes, I am a photographer!!

Cell phone pics taken in a hurry
before she moved.

I had a drawer in the kitchen that got off
kilter. The runner that the drawer glides
that is attached to the back on the cabinet
broke off and the drawer was sitting cock
eyed in that area. I removed it to check things
out and figure out what I needed to do.

It was dark up in there so I ran to get
the flashlight...coming
back to this site.

Mr. Handsome ~ My Model

He hates being my model!

See him cutting those eyes at me?
He wants the camera out of his face.

Speaking of face...
he bit at my nose the other day?
He don't like people in his space and
space means FACE.
I was up in his face kissing his
nose and he was telling me to
back off. did not hurt, he barely
skimmed my nose and
no, I did not get on to him
cause it was all my fault.
I know how he is.

HAHA...when I got him from my
daughter, I hoped he would be
a lap dog....
He will however lay next to
my leg so close that he is
not far from the lap.
Not the same though.
Got Lily, thought maybe she would
be my lap cat....
That did not happen either.

Thank goodness Misfire
is not a lap

Dakota and Lily Bit Making for an Interesting Night

Oh my gosh....
it was an interesting night.

Dakota woke me at 1:30am to go to the
bathroom. Some nights he will stay out
for 20 or 30 mins and I usually sit on the
couch waiting for him. Last night I must
have been really tired cause I curled
up on the couch and went to sleep.

20 mins later I woke to Dakota
knocking on the screen, or should I
say hitting the door.
I woke and stumpled to the door,
unlatched the screen and let him in.
I went back to the couch, covered up
with my throw and went back to sleep.

I woke ten mins later to a loud
Usually if Lily is upstairs and wakes
she meows out loud, checking to see
if I am around. So I yelled upstairs
to tell her to come down.
Dakota however started running around
in the livingroom and heading to the
front door. I figured he must have tummy
issues and needed to go out again.
I was going to let him out and
then go find Lily.

I opened the front door and out
runs a furball. HAHA
I apparently in my sleep state shut her
between the door and screen.
Luck was with me cause I latched the
screen back before shutting the door.
My screen does not latch on its own when
shut so to keep it shut, I have use a hook and
eye latch I installed years ago. Good thing
I did cause if I had not, Lily would have
gotten out and I probably would have
lost her, not knowing where or how she
got out.

This morning the adventure continues.
This is the area my washer and dryer is in,
and on the side of the washer, is the opening to
under my stairs. I blocked that area off to keep
some furball from jumping over and getting lost.
However this morn she jumped over
the board I have there. Usually I have a
kindergarten mat on top of the board but
someone pushed it out of the way.

I heard her when she jumped down, I
knew where she was. I kept hearing her
moving around so I decided to go rescue
her. I found her in this box.

A box that was empty and stored back there.

And Dakota sleeps....haha

Up Close

Hi mom! I like being up close and personal  with you. Then I love to curl up and bury my head. Misty
