Fritos and Night Time

Guess what I found out?
I like Frito's.
Mom gave me a very
small tiny piece and I
begged for more.
Two pieces, that is
all she gave me.

Not fair.
I like it and she will not
give me more.

I jump in the bed
with mom at night
and I suck on my
blanket and knead, then
I roll over and go
night, night.

This is me wedged right
up next to my mom.
So warm and comfy.

Me and Misty, Napping

 OOPS....

Mom caught us in
the bed napping!

You see when she gets
up in the morn,
she goes to the couch
leaving me in
bed and goes back
later when I get up
to make the bed...
but when she went in
there I had gone back
to bed and Misty joined
me.

I laid back down
and Misty
covered me with her
tail.

Its all about the
silly things.

 Mom loves taking pics
of us furs while we
sleep.

She says that is when
we are the most
adorable.

Tied in Knots

 Mom says that she has
trouble sleeping period
but if she curled in

she would never sleep
and never get untied.

Mom and Baby along with the Chase

 I have never seen

anything like this
cause we don't
have water
like that here
at our house.
But WOW...
beautiful.

The incredible

snap captured

mum and calf

leaping from the water.

Then I stretched more.

Then I rolled over
and back, scratching
my back.

Then I closed my eyes
for a nap.

Mom wore me out.

Rainy and Loving

It has been rainy here for days.
Although I love the deck,
I have been coming in
and loving on mom
more cause of the weather.
I took a nap on her chest.

Then I decided to wash my
paws.

After that, I took
another nap on
mom.

Mom loves when I love
on her like this.

Hanging Out

 Just hanging with
mom.

Right over her
shoulder.

Misty

Rolled Over

 I laid down, realized
I was tired.
Rolled over and closed
my eyes.

Throw Another Animal on the Bed...NOT

 We were all waiting
on mom to come
to bed the other night...
Lily and I are laying
where mom sleeps but
she went to the other side
of the bed to crawl in so
not to bother us.

She was sort of surprised
that Lily let me
that close to her.

Hummingbirds and Sunset

You would think that with these
feeders right outside
the deck, that Misty
and I would never get bored.

BUT...
these critters just move
way to fast. We
rather watch
the regular bigger
birds. They come to
eat and they stop and
perch on the feeder.
These birds cont to
flap those wings.

Mom however, loves
to watch them.

We have two regular ones
that hang around
all summer but the other
day we had a visitor.
Mom did not get a pic,
but she said it was a
ruby throated hummingbird.

I came in while mom
was out taking pics
of the hummingbirds and
I started to watch the
sun go down from
my perch!

There are bushes just below
the window also, and
sometimes birds go
in and out of them.
I like to watch them also.

WOW....That is One Big Critter

 WOW......OH MY GOSH

that bad boy is BIG!!

Mom showed us furs

this critter on the laptop.

She told us that Lily and Misty

would be a snack but I would

be a good start to a meal,

since I am bigger.

So glad that I have never

came face to face

with something like this.

Below is the article

we got from the internet.

by CNN
FOLKSTON, Ga. / CNN —
Okefenokee Joe, an11-and-a-half-foot alligator who is believed to have lived in a Georgia swamp since World War II, has died, officials said.

The alligator, affectionately called Oke Joe, passed away from old age, officials from Georgia’s Coastal Ecology Lab said. He had been part of a satellite tag program and researchers were observing his movements in the Okefenokee Swamp since June 2020.

Experts aren’t sure on Oke Joe’s age, but he “was a very old alligator as he had scar tissue over both eyes and his scutes were worn almost smooth,” the lab said. “Alligators can live to be approximately 80 years old though so it is possible he was close to that!”

Joe’s last tracked movement was on July 20, and the lab said, “We first thought the tag had simply fallen off as it had been several weeks since we had received any GPS points from him.”

But after several weeks, the satellite tag was found and the lab confirmed his death.

“We are so grateful to have known him, for his contribution to science and the further understanding and preservation of his species,” they said.

Hammocks

 Look what mom made
us!

Our very own
hanging hammocks!

She had these together in
just a few minutes.

They are super comfy
cause she put pillows
inside for us to lay on.

She put us in there and we
liked it but mom said
the tell will be told
if we get in them on
our own.

Sitting and Cleaning, Blending, the Kill and the Glove

Yep, I know that I blogged
yesterday but I am blogging
again today cause there is
so much that involves me
right now...
 Remember the pic
from yesterday
where I was laying on
mom's chest and kissing
her. Well, here it the pic
before I started kissing her.

Mom was being silly.

Later that day she snapped
a pic of me on the back
of the couch to show
how I blended in with the
blanket.

And I was just trying to
sleep.

Mom blamed me for this

Mom found this on the steps
inside the house.
I will not confirm or
deny that I am the
cause of this dead critter.

Months ago mom noticed one
of her gloves being placed
around the house.
I got blamed for that too.

And I will own up to
this one. I like the feel of
soft things. Mom knew this
so she has not taken it
Ihas never seen me with it.
Its my night time security
blanket
I mean glove.
However, last night mom was
just dozing off when I went
looking for her, glove in mouth
and me just trilling along.
Mom thought it was sweet.

By the way, mom wanted
me to share with you
all that at 11 months
I weigh in at 8.8, which
is 1.4 lbs more then
Lily. Mom calls me a fat
belly cat.

Misty

Eight Pounds and the Kiss

 I sure do LOVE
my mom.

So glad that she don't
mind having my
whole 8.8 lbs on
her chest!!

So I had to give her
a kiss.

Playing with Rocks

 I don't paly with balls.
Mom has tried several
different kinds and shapes.

I rather play with rocks.
Yep, I grab them up and toss
them in the air, watch it
hit the ground and toss it
up again. Sometimes
I try to catch them but that
don't always
work right. I still have
all my teeth though.
Been hit in the head a
couple of times.

White Kitten

 Just the other day
mom told aunt Kim that
her cats blended
in with everything.
And had she ever gotten a
white on they would not
blend in...

Then aunt Kim's niece
found a white cat.
Mom had to go visit and
was thankful, as us furs
are, that the niece was
going to keep it.
We don't want mom
bringin home a new baby.

But boy, isn't this babe
(think it is a girl)
pretty?
Course showing Briana how
to feed it, this fur was
loving all over mom.
I know she had to
be melting, mom that is,
not the cat.
