Comfortable

Last night I was curled
up on the couch
and watching some
tv, chilling before bed time.

Lily Bit jumped up and
curled up next to the
right leg.
(usual)

And Cheyenne was on
the left.

Dakota was on the chair!

Posing

The other day I looked
out into the
backyard and saw
this!

Not a clue why he
jumped up on my painting
stool but he did.

So sweet!

Barn Cats/ Food and Lily Bit

A few weeks ago I
picked up some cat food
at Aldi's.
The cats at the barn
were not at
all fond of it.

So Chris grabbed a bag of
food for them that
they ate up.

Going through that I picked
up some the other
night and I poured it
in their tin can but before
I could scoop some up
to feed them they were
attacking the bucket!
Weren't really eating it they
were just being what cats are
to begin with...
NOSEY!

Lily bit chilling with me
on the deck yesterday.

Lily Bit seems to
stop here and there to
take things in and
she looks like she is
posing.

The other night she
sat on the arm of the
couch next to me
in the chair.

The table light was shinning
on her one side.

She is the sweetest.
She has gotten where she
will run from me
if I head over to her.
She enjoys the attention
but she does not like
to be held. All I want
to do is pick up her and
love on her.
YEP....she rather I not
do that!!!
I however, am working on
trying to stop my
behavior and let her
come to me when she
wants to.

The Two Original and the Added Addition

My company on the
deck doing coffee
this morn.

Aren't they all so
sweet?

I know that Chey looks
sad...ALL THE
TIME. But it is just
her eyes. She is a happy
go lucky girl!

Hug a furbabe today...
or several!

Skin Issues

Love my furbabes
but vet bills are
adding up!

Dakota had to make a trip
back to the vets today.
He has some bad spots
on his skin, usually a circle,
measuring in size dime to quarter.
Hair comes out with these spots.

Skin infection...
comes with the the lymphoma.
Two week round of meds
plus shampoo for a bath.
I have yet to break the bath
news to him!!

He was so excited to be
going BYE, BYE with
mom and leaving Chey and
Lily at home....
but that did not last long
once he realized where he
was going!

Poor babe.

Mom's Last Wish

my brother had to have his
dog put down.
He elected to have Moose
cremated.

My mom having a couple
of her babes buried in
her yard and one of
mine decided that
cremating her babes
from here on out was
the way to go.

When Mom was in ICU
and was alert she asked
about her three babes and
then she told me, "you know
what to do if something
happens".

Yes mom, I know what you
wanted.

Sunday evening at the
Emergency Vet
clinic I elected to bring
Molly with me when I left.

They got her ready for me
to leave with her.
Janice, woman that works with
my daughter at Elm Hill Vet
lives right down the street, she
met me at the office and took
Molly from me.
They are taking care of
sending her out for
cremation.
Thanks to my daughter
Amber and Janice for taking
care of Molly for mom
and I.

When I took Molly to the
vets the other night I picked
her up in the small dog bed
she was laying in. When I
came home with just the bed
and blanket Cheyenne and
Dakota had to check the bed
out. Even Lily
looked for
Molly and has gone
back several times
looking for her.
They are doing better
now.

Molly May

Last week Molly while
in the kitchen walking
Molly started slipping, her
back end would not stay up.

She slipped twice then seemed
to be okay.
But then she stopped eating a
few days later.

Saturday I was able to
get her to eat some
wet dog food.

Yesterday morning she was
moving around and I thought
she would be okay.

Until I noticed how pale her
tongue and gums were.

To the Emergency Vet Clinic we
went. I barely got her there in
time. But apparently Mollys
stomach was full of cancer but
there was not sign till
they started to bust.

RIP Molly, you are with
your mom now. I love
you.

Sleeping Arrangements

Sleeping arrangements
at my house can
get interesting.

You see, I have a
queen size bed and
I share it with three
 dogs and
a cat.

Dakota is the only
one that
will sleep under
the
cover. But, that can
change.
Some nights its
 in and out.

I never feel him coming
 out though
from under the
cover but
I always know when
he wants
under them.  I know
 this cause
although he can get
 under the
covers by himself
he feels the
need to wake me,
 by scratching
at me. I raise the
cover and
under he goes.
How many times
 a night
this happens can vary.

But since Chey
and Molly
have come into
our home or
should I say bed things
have changed.

Chey loves to sleeping
with a part of her
body touching me,
usually her back side.
The problem has come into
play with Dakota
wanting under
the covers cause Chey
sleeps sideways
in the bed,
up next to me.

Raising the blankets for
Dakota to crawl under is
really hard cause of the
way she lays. I
have been
having to raise
her up while
she sleeps on the
blankets cause
not only does Dakota want
under, he wants to go to the
bottom of the bed.

Now Molly used to
sleep on a dog
bed on the floor.

I felt bad about
that so one day I put her up
on the bed, I banked
the side I
was not one
with pillows, I
was afraid she
would fall off but
the amazing thing is she
usually don't ever move.

As for Lily Bit....
haha, I really have no clue
where she sleeps.
She used to sleep with
Dakota and I but since
the bed got crowded
things changed.

Some nights I
get up cause
Dakota needs to
go out (he
is the only dog
that gets up
at night) and when
 I go down
to let him out
Lily is on the
chair.  Other times I find her
on the bed with us
 but lately she
has been sleeping in a
narrow box next
to my bed that is full
of material and other stuff.

She is such a mess.
My daughter asked
me if I
get any sleep and the
answer I
gave her was .....
not really.
Course that adds
to my fatigue in
life.

Sweet Dreams
folks!

Finding a Voice - Needs to Stop

OH PLEASE
tell me it's a phase!!

This two year finding
her voice is killing me.

She has taken it upon
herself to voice
EVERYTHING!
And LOUDLY
too.

She seems to think it is
fun to wake me, time and
time again till I
get up.

She seems to delight in
being in a different room
and meowing out
to me to come in there.
Then I get there she leaves!

BRAT!

The Pups

Dakota was giving
mom some kisses.

Chey wanted me to
just pet her.

And Molly just wanted to
sleep.
