Moms love of Critters, and her Dislike for some

 We are glad that mom
loves animals cause without
that love we would not have
the great home we have.

We are also glad that mom
knows here limits and don't
bring home every critter she
comes in contact with.

Like the ones below...
Mom stopped on the road
on the way to the wedding
Saturday to move this guy
out of the center of the road.
She said it was stopped, right
in the middle of the double lines.
Head out, feet in. She thinks his
feet got hot and that is why
he stopped.

Then heading to her brothers
the other day she stopped and moved
this one out of the road.

We, okay, she thinks they are
both snappers.
Lucky for her she still
has her fingers!!
When we first moved to this
house 1.5 yrs ago there was
an issue with a squirrel that chewed
a hole in the screen to get on the deck.
Mom was shocked and could not
figure out why, then she realized
that she had put a birdfeeder
thingy of lard and seed on
the deck. Little devil, that is
what mom called it was going
in to eat. Mom sewed up the
hole and put the feeder in
a plastic container.

BUT
the other day she came out
and found this.

She was not happy and again
did not know why.
Until she remembered she spilled
some seed on the deck at the container
and although it was very little, she
had not filled the birdfeeder in
a couple of days. Guess that
little devil was tired of waiting on
her. Now she has to repair this hole.

The one up to the top of the pic
is the new one, the one at the
bottom is where mom sewed a
piece of screen over the other hole.

HAHA....I however, knew that devil
had been out there and I was looking
for it.

It did not come back though. It managed
to eat what tiny bit mom had
dropped when getting the birds
food. She keeps it sealed up in
a plastic container but says she will
have to be sure and not drop any.

Just so you know, these critters
mom does not like....
AT ALL...
