Hard to See

 Sunday night mom was having one of those nights, you know the ones, where you can not go to sleep!!

She laid in bed and was TRYING to watch TV. Only she said I was making it a tad hard for her to be able to see much. 

Really don't have a clue at what she is talking about!

Movement and Crashing

 Mom says I have the most beautiful eyes. She also says they are big and bright! I was sitting in the living room when she was taking these pics.

Then a movement out the window caught these big and bright eyes.

Then that movement kept moving.

Darn, it was nothing interesting. Mom still had wreathes

with red bows hanging on the windows and 

the wind was blowing the bow. 

After this pic, she let the window at the top down

and the wreath dropped to the ground, that

way she just had to go outside and get it. 

Later, after all the excitement I had to nap.

I totally crashed.

Pom Poms

 Mom said that Lily and I need to teach Rat Muffin (Misty) that she needs to stop putting her pom poms in the water bowl. 

Mom picked this one out and the next day there were two!!

Boxes, Thank You and Stretching

   Thanks to Brain's dad for alerting me to the bigger boxes for cats. Never, never, never thought about them being treated with chemicals to keep mice out. Crap....amazing the stuff that we bring in our homes and being unaware.    Pam

Last night Lily was on the tree so I curled up next to Chey. She don't mind that I do this. I was in a ball asleep but then I needed to move and stretch. 

I am stretching out my skinny, long body and Chey

never moved. After this stretch, I curled right back up 

and went right back to napping!

Boxes

 Mom has a friend that calls her the "Crazy Cat Lady" on fb! He is a dog person. 

He was wondering about boxes and cats so mom took this pic of our Walmart delivery box.

Misty and I love this box but we go in different times,

not together.

Ms. Molly

 Hey folks, its me Pam. I am taking over the animal blog today. I am mainly doing this cause the doggie in this pic, my animals did not know.

This is Molly....Ms. Molly.

Years ago I dated a guy 

named Brian. A friend of 

Brian's found

Ms. Molly wandering around 

on the road. She picked her

up and tried to find her home 

but no one claimed her

Brain's friend was looking for 

a home for Molly 

and Brian said he would give 

it a try. Molly was about a yr 

old and Brian was not at all 

sure about this. 

Even after Brian and I stopped 

seeing each other,

we still saw each other...haha. 

We were friends. I would

call him sometimes and tell him 

that Dakota and I were

having Molly withdrawals and 

could we come see her.

Molly was a loving girl and her 

and I had a bond. 

A few years back Brian moved

 about 2.5 hours away.

He went to Memphis cause 

his grands lived there and 

he wanted to spend time with 

them. I have not seen 

Molly since but Brian and I 

would hit each other up

on fb or text so I could check on them. 

Brian has been taking 

treatment for cancer so

I felt the need to stay in touch. 

Today he called me 

to tell me that he had to have 

Molly put down.

She had cancer of the 

throat and at her age 

there was not much that 

could be done. He told me

that he wanted to call yesterday 

but he just could

not talk about it but he knew 

he had to call me today.

He knew how much I loved Molly. 

By the way, this is nine years 

after he was not sure

he needed a dog! Him and Molly 

loved each other

and he gave her a great life 

after she was found. 

He is feeling guilty about putting 

her down and 

I reassured him that he did the 

right thing,

that she was always there 

for him and he had

to do the right thing for her. 

My heart is hurting, she was a sweetie.

Cool Days

 

Mom and I always had a routine. I wake her, she fills my bowl and opens the back door so I can go out. 

HOWEVER, the door don't get opened as much as before. Its cold out. Plus, now mom trips over that rat muffin Misty when she is going to my bowl. 

On the better days mom will prop open the door for me to go out on the deck but I don't stay long at all. Then mom closes the door cause she gets cold. I like it to stay open so I can come and go as I wish. But she is correct, I don't stay out long these day.

either it was just too cool for me.

Long, Bird Watching, Mom Watching, Napping and Cuddling

 Mom says I am growing!

She said I have long legs, a long body and a long tail!

Mom weighed me last night and I am up to 3.8 lbs.

I am now 13 weeks old.

I really am not that concerned about me being long, I am more interested in watching the birds out the window.

Looking at the pic I do see that I look pretty long!

I watch mom all the time. If she is 

on the couch and I 

am on the cat tree, I am watching.

Yesterday mom was cooking, she opened the drawer

to get a towel out, forgetting to close it and when she

did, I was in there. I was just laying on the towels

watching my mom. She goes to the BR, I go.

She goes to the deck and if she leaves

the door open, I go. 

If I am not on the cat tree watching mom, I run 

and jump on her when she sits down.

I usually fall to sleep in her arms.

Sometimes she calls me her cuddle bunny.

Mom says I am a pretty good little 

girl. She has had to get on to

me a couple of times cause I have 

tried to climb the curtains. 

She also told me two days ago 

how proud she was of me

with all I have learned with no mom and Lily 

not wanting to teach me things. 

I was having problems covering up my business and

Lily was helping out with that. I thought that was really nice of her. She would go in 

after me and do the covering. The other day when she told me

she was proud of me was cause I gave her my very

first head butt. NO...Lily did not teach me that. 

Mom is amazed that I learned it even though no 

cat has showed it to me. 

Anyway, I think she is happy with me. 

Lily plays chase with

me but other times she shows her 

Tortie side, that is

what mom calls it. Chey just watches us.

I am glad I have my mom for my mom.

Misty River

AKA Misty Little

Something BIG

 Mom was standing at the kitchen sink thinking about washing some dishes.....lol

She looked out in the back yard and with the trees being bare she saw something black and white in the top of the tree. Something BIG.

Mom grabbed her big camera but did not have the zoom lens on it but she went

out on the deck to get a shot anyway.

Mom said that she was pretty sure it was a hawk but she posted for her friends

on fb to give her an answer to what it was. It's a Coopers Hawk. 

A friend of mom's said to keep an eye on the dog. Mom laughed and told him

that even though this bird was big, Chey weighs 26 lbs so she felt

that Chey was safe. Thankful though that 

Misty Little (nickname) and I don't leave

the deck. I am sort of glad now myself.

New Years Eve

 New Years Eve ~

 After midnight we went to bed.

Lily was cleaning her side and mom took

this pic! Lily looks silly sitting like that.

I however was not really happy....

FIREWORKS!

They were going off all over.

 This little rat muffin that mom brought home thinks she can just be next to mom all the time.

Never mind that I am not like that, I am jealous that this one is.
