Little Me, Nosey Me, Loving Mom Me

 Mom says I am a mess! 

Last night she was looking back on pics just to see how much I have grown.

 

This was me at two weeks.

Below are pics taken the other day.

Mom was on the laptop the other day and I wanted to see

what she was doing so I got behind her 

and started looking over the top of 

the laptop from behind.

Seriously, I was still confused at what she was doing!

But I kept looking anyway.

When Mom asked me what I was doing I 

looked up and although I tried to look

like I knew what she was doing, I know my

look came off as 

CONFUSED!

One of mom's friends said this was a magazine 

photo! I will be like my big sis Lily and 

be so pretty in my pics!

Mom really needs to stop telling me I am 

nosey!! haha

Mom did tell me yesterday that this is the reason

that she can't get anything done. She said 

every time she sits down I am up 

on her.

But I love you mom!

Thank you for taking me in and loving me.

Misty River

Fox Update

 As of last night this critter has not ventured in the trap. 

But according to aunt Kim, they have managed to trap each cat and a rather mad raccoon.

Apparently out where I lived for awhile, with Aunt Kim and Uncle Mark, there are a lot of animals.

Three days ago Aunt Kim saw a fox in the yard.

She was worried about the cats but she did

some reading that said fox don't normally hunt

cats.

Kim said it was funny though to look out 

yesterday and saw the fox eating out of 

the same bowls with the cats. 

Kim contacted a group called Wadden Puddle,

they help wildlife. They brought a trap over and set

it up to catch this guy. They will take him, tend to him

if he is sick and once he is well he will be let go.

Misty

Eyes and Kneading

  Mom has been teaching us new things that she has learned lately.

We did not know that all kittens are born with blue eyes. Most kittens eye color will change by 4 months but some will carry that blue into adulthood.  

When the eyes do change the color they are not just green they vary in color.

wow.....those eyes are beautiful.

We were all shocked to find out that 

my sisters, Lily and 

Misty could actually have more 

then one daddy.

It sure would be hard to tag a kitten with a type 

of cat that way.

Lily was fostered with her siblings and 

some dogs but she stayed with

her mom till it was time to get out and about 

and find a furever home.

But she never kneaded on mom 

or made biscuits.

Most kittens will knead while nursing to help in 

getting moms milk.

Misty however would do kneading in the air 

as she held onto her

bottle but this morning she actually 

crawled up on mom and sucked

on her housecoat while kneading. 

Misty's bottle is gone but I think

it is also a calming thing, something 

to relax them. 

Purring, it is really cool to hear Lily 

and Misty purr. They can be

eating while they purr, playing or just 

getting comfy while being

rubbed or petted. Us dogs, well, we 

don't purr. Dakota was great at

snoring. Sometimes he could get 

really loud just like a cats purr 

can get loud. 

Cats are cool. I really never thought 

I would be around

cats to know that but I now live with 

two when I used

to live with all dogs.

Crazy.

Chey

Crawls on my Mom

 I think one of the reasons why I am not taking to this little girl is cause every time I turn around this little rat looking thing is crawling up on my mom and going to sleep. 

She plays for a few minutes and then crawls up on mom and she is out.

She was my mom first. Maybe when she grows more she will stop doing that. 

I like her, kind of, but then I kind of don't. I will play with her 

until Mom see's us then I meow loudly and bop her on the head.

Mom keeps telling me my Tortie side is showing.

Vet Apt.

 Misty saw the vet today, she weighted in at a whooping 2.06 lbs. The vets office where my daughter words is still doing the drop off thing. I called when I got there and Amber came out to get Chey and Misty. 

Chey gets all over herself when she sees Amber so she was dancing in the back seat till Amber got her out. Amber took hold of the leash and picked  up the carrier with Misty in there. 

Lily has been doing better so I did not take her into the vet. I am going to keep an eye on her and if she starts throwing up again I will take her in. 

But I did not want to take Chey and Misty off and leave Lily home, so she rode along with us.

If she is going to the vet I put her in her carrier but since she was just riding along, she was not put in a carrier. She sits on the console right beside me. 

Here we are sitting in the car waiting on Misty and Chey to come back out.

Amber brought the gang back to us. They took blood and will have the results

back tomorrow on Chey. 

Misty is fine. Had her first shot.

Amber said she was mean. She she would not stay still while they

messed with her. Amber told me it was like Misty was doing

a gator roll. With that, they did not get her nail clipped.

Other then that, she is healthy. 

Eating and Vetting

I am eating on my own.

Mom said at 8 weeks it is time.

Today mom said that I have a vet

apt. to check me out and weigh me. 

I am okay with that, Aunt Kim took me to 

the vet so I know what that is like.

Chey is going too cause she has to have blood

taken to check out her liver.

Lily was throwing up the other day so 

mom was thinking of taking her also but

she has stopped doing that now. Not sure

if mom is going to take her now or wait and 

see how she does the next few days. 

Anyway, mom seemed proud that I was eating on 

my own now. Guess that is a big deal.

 We play when I have a mind too.

I allow her on my tree....

But she needs to remember the top is mine.

Accident and Life with Misty

 We had a scare the other day while Mom was hanging clothes up to put in the closet. Misty runs full open and all of a sudden she stopped. Mom looked and she had run into this hanger.

It was laying over in the cradle like this. with others.

Thank goodness this hanger had a blunt end on it,

cause it was wedged between Misty's eyeball and 

the bottom eye lid. Mom had to pull it out.

She said Misty's eye was a little red but it was

not hurt. She was lucky.

I think Lily is jealous cause Misty wants to be really

close to mom all the time unless she is playing. Mom was 

chilling on the couch the other day and Misty crawled

up on her just to look at her.

She had crawled under Mom's laptop. 

She was comfy. 

Lily plays with Misty every so often but when she is done, she

meows and bops Misty on the head. Mom had hoped that Misty

would be able to help Lily since she knew that Lily missed

playing with Dakota. Now Mom is hoping that it gets better as

Misty grows. 

Mom is trying to teach Misty the boundaries so that Lily

don't feel like she is giving up everything. 

Misty will get on the cat tree but Mom will not allow her

to get on the top, that is Lily's spot. 

Misty is still sleeping in the guest room too. Mom says

that she will not let Misty start sleeping with us till

Lily's mood settles down some. 

Me, I am cool with Misty. She don't mind that I growl

when I play. Her and I play a lot. But she also gets

on my last nerve when I want to sleep and she

tried biting on me to play. 

Mom is attached to Misty and she is now a part of

us but Mom is worried cause Lily has not only taken

to having a catitude but a tortitude also towards Mom.

When Mom used to pick up Lily she would do a short

meow and she would give Mom a minute to hold her

and love on her. Now Lily does several loud leave

me along meows. It is hurting Mom some.

 Hi, its me! Oh, me is Lily. I wanted to be close to mom the other day while she was folding clothes so I jumped in the basket. 

Mom laid a blanket in there before I jumped in and told me it was okay

for me to get in there. Then she covered me for privacy. 

Then I watched mom fold.

 Hi everyone! Wow, its been crazy around here.

Chey seems to adjusted fine. I am doing okay but some days mom says that my Tortie side comes out. Its when Misty wants to play and I don't.
