Oh Dear, Come See the Deer

Been looking at 

albums and FB

and decided to share

some older pics.

view.

Younger Dakota

Dakota HAD 

a fave toy,

a stuffed monkey!

And it actually lasted for

months, until one day!

I have cleaned up after several

of his play dates with 

his toys.

Dakota has never been 

a toy playing dog.

He will chase a ball but

will not bring it back.

He does not shake 

toys like most do.

He just likes to tear them

apart!

The next two pics

are what happens when

you paint around a dog

that has to be close to you.

I had my table set up, a

tv tray next to it 

with my paints on pallet

paper. A corner of the paper

was hanging off and Dakota

walked under it, catching

his tail on it and pulling

it on himself.

Time to Retire

Evening folks.

We are ready to call it

a day and when mom 

walked in the room, this

is the site she saw.

Mom was walking through

the living room and 

tripped over Lily's box only

to find Lily in it, sleeping!

Poor baby...

when I first got a professional

camera and started shooting

Dakota

was my model a lot of times,

that did not always make him

HaPpY!

But he was a good sport about it.

Here he is chewing on his

fave stuffed monkey.

Look how handsome.

No gray spots either.

HAHA....got him looking

at me while I was sitting on 

the floor playing with

the camera. He was looking

off the back of the couch.

This next shot shows the 

gray he has gotten.

Still my best

Lily and Deer, Lily and Painted Rug

For those of you that do not

follow my regular

blog then you missed

this adorable shot of

Lily checking out the deer

in the backyard. 

A not common site in 

our neighborhood so I guess

just guess at what she was thinking.

deck....still deciding

what I want to do on it.

Hiding and Eating

Today I am sharing a 

pic of Lily Bit right 

after I got her....

She was so tiny, now she

fills that cat tree perch. 

Yesterday while messing around

and trying to get some things

done I stumbled upon

this site.

Lily hiding under

some deck curtains I started

to hang before realizing

I need to go get the ladder!

They got knocked from the 

glider to the deck and 

Lily was taking full

advantage!

I have come to know that

when the head is covered

she thinks she is out

of site!

Trixie has showed up

for the last four days.

I make sure she has food

even if she don't eat...

like I said before I think 

she is the 

HOOD cat,

meaning she is well

fed by the neighborhood.

She is just so pretty but

in passing water to her

yesterday she almost got me

with that swipe of hers added

in with the hiss!

One day maybe critters will learn

to not swipe at the hand

feeding out!

Bred to Hunt

Rat Terriers are

bred and born to 

hunt rodents.

So having Dakota 

digging for a mole is

not a surprise.

If it Fits

Cat folks understand the 

saying,

"if it fits, I sit"!

She is what keeps me

Dakota and the Cat

I thought I would pull

some older

pics of Dakota to show

you folks.

One day he saw the neighbor cat

out, he ran out to scare

meet it.

Now he actually thought

that this pretty babe

would run from him.

Little did he know that

it was not going anywhere.

There was a sort of stand off

until Dakota AKA THE

KING

realized that the 

cat was not afraid of him.

So he gives up!

What a slap in the face

even though the cat

did not actually slap him!

This was years before

LILY!

Big Eyes, Big Yawn

Yesterday I go out

to the deck to

check on Lily since

its been so hot. 

Found her under the

chair, laying on 

her back, paws

tucked and snoozing.

When I went to take

the pic eyes opened

wide!

I must have really

messed up that nap cause

later after she moved

I saw this.

HAHA....

what a BIG 

yawn.
