Hummingbirds and Sunset

You would think that with these
feeders right outside
the deck, that Misty
and I would never get bored.

BUT...
these critters just move
way to fast. We
rather watch
the regular bigger
birds. They come to
eat and they stop and
perch on the feeder.
These birds cont to
flap those wings.

Mom however, loves
to watch them.

We have two regular ones
that hang around
all summer but the other
day we had a visitor.
Mom did not get a pic,
but she said it was a
ruby throated hummingbird.

I came in while mom
was out taking pics
of the hummingbirds and
I started to watch the
sun go down from
my perch!

There are bushes just below
the window also, and
sometimes birds go
in and out of them.
I like to watch them also.

  1. We never see those little hummers here, ours are bigger and know how to sing a tune!

  2. We have six large feeders on our patio. During June, July and August we can hard keep them full. Come September it starts slowing down. We can keep up now.

Have a fabulous day. Scritches to the furbabes. ♥
