Dakota Playing / Lily Alert

Dakota, Lily and I spent

a cold day just laying around

yesterday. It was a PJ day

for me.

Dakota had a little energy he needed

to get rid of so we played 

stuff doggie!

Playing stuff doggie consist of 

me tossing the dog in the 

air, Dakota grabbing it and 

running off with it so 

he can chew on it.

Unlike the dog I had when Amber

was young, Dakota don't play

fetch. He will not play ball.

He would rather just chew a hole

in his toy and pull stuffing

out all over the room!

As of yet, this one still is intact!

Yesterday while chilling and taking it

easy I was texting with Theresa.

During that text Lily decided she

wanted to love on me again

(I got a lot of loving yesterday).

While in the process of getting

Lily love, T texted me back,

the sound got Lily's attention.

Check out how alert she is.

If I could teach her to answer the 

phone I would have it made cause

if my phone is laying there and it

rings she runs to it and slaps it

with her paw....

esp if mom is calling cause

mom's ringer is dogs barking!

Lily Adventures

I had the fear that Lily would be

up in the Christmas

tree but I

have been

really lucky there cause

the most she has done is

bite at the lower branches

and slap a lower ornament. 

Yesterday and this morning

I have noticed she is hanging

around the tree more...

walking over the gifts and 

hiding behind the tree.

Silly Lily.

 

This morn she has also been busy

chasing a bug.

Blessed with These Two

Dakota is just so handsome!

He usually wears a red collar but

with his skin tag on the back of

his neck I have taken it off him.

But he looks funny to me so I decided

that a new bandana would do 

the trick.

He knew he looked good cause

he hardly ever poses for a pic but

this time he did....

Being that he looked so good

I decided to cut one for

Lily....

Yep, she was having none of

that. She did sit long enough 

for me to take a pic....but

she wanted that off!

Why is that babies and animals

are just so cute

asleep?

My Furbabes - Dakota and Lily

Yesterday after getting home I laid

out the curtain I got at Goodwill....

Lily crawled under it.

And Dakota decided that it was

time to play! 

haha

I was sitting at the kitchen table at 

Ray's yesterday and Dakota had

to be near me. He curled up on 

the extra chair to nap.

Lily on the other and curled up on 

the chair at the end of the table, 

hidden by the table to nap.

HAHA...this was the night before.

I was piled up in the bed watching

TV and silly boy crawled out

from under the cover. 

What a look!

Lily was piled up on the end of the 

other side of the bed. 

Now I ask you....how many cats

do you know that will get in the 

shower with you?

She will not do it at home cause

I have a regular tub shower

but at Ray's she has room to 

get out of the way of the water.

When the water goes off she gets 

down and lays in the the litte

water that has not gone down

the drain yet.

I have some silly little critters!

Lily and the Bird / Dakota on the Ride

Lola (bird) is not at all

concerned with 

Lily.

But Lily really

wants at Lola.

   

 

And this is Lily, tired last night

after chasing the 

mouse.

This is my bud. He rides in the 

backseat, usually not in the 

center though. He has a booster

seat behind the passenger side

seat that he normally sits on.

But I think he wanted to be 

close to Lily since she is on 

the other side of him in 

her carrier. 

He usually has a bright red

collar on but with that BIG

skin tag on his neck I have had

to remove the collar, it was 

rubbing that spot.

Silly Little Lily Missing Her Bud

I have been trying to entertain 

silly little Lily since yesterday,

she was acting like she was missing

her bud...

DAKOTA!

This is her playing hide and seek with me

today.

Dakota was to stay at mom's till

tomorrow but he is with us now,

I felt that she was missing him enough that

he needed to come back.

Just a few minutes ago they were

on the bed with me, and Dakota

started a play session!

Should have seen her stop and look

around when I asked her did 

she miss Dakota!

I love that they love each other

and that I love them both!

Lily Antics

Staying at my brothers Lily

has a lot of room to run and 

a lot of places to hide.

She just comes and goes and 

roams around....but every so 

often when I realize I have not 

seen her in a while I go looking.

Problem....she blends in with so

many surroundings that I over

look her a lot of times.

Do you see her?

She was just sitting there ....chilling!

Here she is acting like she is

stretching but at the same time

she is reaching for Maggie's

tail.

She don't understand that the older

dogs really don't want to 

play.

Next  she goes up to greet

Chole. 

Then she tries rubbing and marking

Chole for her own.

After marking Chole she rolls

around on the floor, 

Chole looks like she is 

askiing me, "what now?"

She just moves from one to the other...

now she is trying to play with 

Moose.

So much fun watching all 

this play out.

Dakota however is at mom's.

She tries to give me a break

by taking him on when I am up here

house sitting, since he is so demanding

and sticks to me like glue. 

But....I think Lily misses him.

Speaking on that, Lily and I

went home today so I could do somethings

and to give her some quality time

on the deck.

Fresh air must have gotten to

her. This was her on the 

ride back to Ray's house.
