Sweet Nighty Nite

 I was tired. I jumped up on mom to nap.

But while I rested on her chest she

typed on the laptop, she was moving

too much.

I got down to nap with Chey, 

well really to nap ON Chey.

Everywhere!

I feel so our numbered!

Mom went over to help Aunt Kim move

some furniture the other day and look,

she came back with pics of Bubba and Zora!

Sleep, Wake, Sleep....Please

 Mom can't sleep.....

             so she said, "I can't sleep, you don't sleep"!!! 

Really wish she would

turn that light and the TV 

off so we can sleep.

Play Time and Being Loud

 They do play. Lily don't like mom to see her playing with Misty though but she is getting better about it. Used to mom would see her and then she would get ugly or run off.

Mom was able to get some pics of them playing 

the other day.

 

Makes mom happy to see this.

However, mom can't figure it out cause

Lily is very vocal when playing with Misty.

So mom is not sure if she is showing her rear

or just being loud.

There are those times that mom knows that 

when the hiss comes after the loud meow playing 

that its not good. Mom calls Misty away. Sometimes

Lily gets the water bottle taken to her.

Oops.....I have never had the water bottle

taken to me.

I have jumped off the couch and started

towards Misty and Lily when Lily is

being ugly, going to break it up but

Lily runs off. Can't let her be ugly to my

new sister.

Coat of Many Colors

My sister from another mother than 

I came from is so 

pretty.

Look at her. Beautiful coat of

fur.

Sort of like a coat of many colors. 

I like Lily Bit. She is taking to me

little by little.

We play some then she gets mad

at me but I will win her over.

Russian Blue and Tortoiseshell

 Mom loves to read up on things.

When I came to live with her she did a lot of reading on cats in general and then more on Tortie's and Tabby's. My mom was a Tortoiseshell so that makes me part Tortie. But with my markings I am a Tabby too....they call us Torbies. According to my markings I am a Mackerel Tabby. That is determined with the strips going down.

Since Misty has come to live

with us she has been doing

reading up on her. 

She thought right from the

start that she was a Russian

Blue mix. Lately there have been

markings showing up on her coat.

They are gray just like 

Misty but the markings are

lighter. 

Misty's lighter markings

look like this.

They call this a Classic

pattern. So Misty is

a Russian Blue Tabby

mix with a Classic pattern.

It was hard to tell much about

her till recently cause she

was just a baby. There are

several types of gray cats

but we are pretty sure she is a blue. 

She has the Russian Blue 

smile 

And the triangle shape

face. 

The internet talks about their

striking green eyes but 

Misty's are still changing. 

The bottom of their

paws stay a mauve 

color.

Russian Blues are

sweet-tempered, and loyal cat who 

will follow her owner everywhere.

The internet also said that

they are very social creatures and

highly intelligent animals.

Yay, now its time to talk about me.

Tortoiseshell cats are beautiful creatures 

affectionally called “torties.” Best known as “the divas 

of the cat world" and 

a Tortoiseshell cat would be rare if

were of the male gender, we are all 

pretty much females.

I know that if you know anything

about cats you know that 

most cats have a CAT-I-TUDE.

Well for us Torbie's since we have

Tortie in us, we have not only

the CAT-I-TUDE but we have

what is  known as TORT-I-TUDE.

The great part is a Tortie is

considered good luck.

Mom loves both my bad traits and my

good traits. Just like Misty, she loves

her also.

Curling up on Mom

I am growing fast mom says!

Plus just this past week I have

taken to curling up next

to mom to sleep

instead of on top of her.

But even with that, there are

still days that I prefer 

to curl up with mom and her

have her arms around me.

Problem she said was that it

was hard to edit pics on the 

laptop!

But she put that aside so that I 

could sleep on her and worked

on the pics later.

That was sweet!

We are all making it

work. Lily and I have 

actually been playing a lot 

more.

Laying Low

 Hi, I have been laying low lately, have you missed me?

(chilling with mom)

Still adjusting to that little gray rat being at the house.

We run and play some but I am still upset with mom

for bring her home. I jump her a lot just cause

she is THERE. I don't hurt her, I just tell her

to back off. Mom tells me that I am showing my Tortie side 

when I act like that. I hope that I can change my

my attitude. I forgave mom some last night

and I snuggled with her several times

in the middle of the night. Mom even gave me

some great head rubs.

Becky AKA Zora or Zora AKA Becky - Who Knows

 Mom went over to Aunt Kim's the other day and she Misty. Not sure why, Chey did not get to go. I did not get to go. What's up with that?

Mom said it was cause Bubba was there and Misty knows Bubba. They used to play together.

WHATEVER!

Mom did show me this pic though. It's Zora AKA Becky.

I wanted to know why her two names were so DIFFERENT.

Mom said it was cause when they got her, she was

a stray over by Kim's mom's house, that they were

trying to come up with a name. Aunt Kim said Zora.

Uncle Mark said NO!

Why?

The reason behind Uncle Mark's no was this~

He told Aunt Kim that out of all the letters in

the alphabet, she wanted to use the Z twice for

the cats. You see the other cat, the first cat

there is Zuzu. So Aunt Kim calls this black

beauty Zora and Mark calls her Becky.

Mom calls her both.

Poor cat is probably so confused. 

Anyway, like me she loves to sit in the

sun puddles that come through that

window.

   Well All I have to say is that it is not oh my breed. 

Bigfoot, also known as Sasquatch, in Canadian folklore and American folklore, 

is an ape-like creature that is purported to inhabit the forests of 

North America. Supposed evidence of Bigfoot's existence is based on a number of disputed video recordings, audio recordings, photographs, visual sightings, casts of large footprints, etc

Do you believe?

Mom watches these shows that talk about this two

legged creature all the time. Mom believes in a lot

of things but she is not so sure about this one, cause

if its been seen as much as they say, why has no one

caught or killed one? And why when hunters go out

looking and hunting for it, does one never shows?

Its just all strange. 

I have never seen one, and I am glad!

Photo Shoot

Mom set up this spot in front of the tree.

She wanted to get pics of us furs and she

started with me.

I however was not having anything to do with it.

See the gray in the right hand corner?

Yep, that's me jumping over it all.

Me again, right hand corner.

Mom gave up. But after a bit of playing 

I crashed on top of the cat tree.

Mom played then.

 She said she will work with the other two later,

I wore her out.
