Tired from Playing

I wore her out!

She loves playing with the thingy

there in the pic.

She loves playing hide and seek 

with mom.

And she loves for me to 

chase her!

But she really loves playing with

Dakota the most.

Deck Time

Yesterday was beutiful in Nashville

so Lily, Dakota and I spent the day

on the deck. 

There was so much inside I needed

to be doing but....

it was just too pretty.

Lily loves to bird watch!

Where Dakota loves curling up 

next to me on the glider under the throw.

At one point I think Dakota got tired

of me pushing and gliding in the 

glider so he moved to the

chair.

 

Where he had no 

peace at all cause

apparently Lily was tired

of hunting and wanted to play!

After some time I curled up on the 

glider....I can do that now being smaller,

with Dakota behind my legs and took 

a nap.

Dakota is resting his weary head

on my thigh.

I love his eyes...the shape and the 

wisdom!

Oops....head up trying to see

what his little sis is into!

She jumped up in the chair to rest.

But before rest she had to wiggle around

and be silly.

Check out the wild glassy eye look!

She decided a nap was not

a bad idea...

such a colorful belly!

After nap time we all sat around

and did nothing!!

Oh wait, I did nothing, well actually

see the camera lens, I tried to get some

good pics of the birds and the 

pesty squirrel that wanted to get to

the birdfeeder.

While I tried to get pics the 

fur babes watched.....daring

him to come any closer.

Seriously, Lily jumped at him

through the screen!

But here are my watch  (dog) fur babes!

Last night after a busy day on the deck.

Dakota was under the quilt!

The fresh air wore the out!

We are on the deck again this morning.

I will be giving it up in a bit, I have so

much to do so I can't sit on my boney rear

today. 

Rain last night, birds are busy today,

preparing for the storms that will

be moving in tonight. 

Lily has never been a part of

our tornado drill but looks

like she might get to see how

we do things tonight.

The furbabes love it when you leave

a sweet comment,

Bird Watching and Napping

We have dropped from 80 to

60 degrees today. It is a cool

60 with a breeze and rain.

The deal is, 50 or above

I open the back door for 

Lily. 

I try to take my coffee out 

on the deck with her...and

of course me side kick is

always with me.

Boxes and Love

I love when my fur babes 

just want to be close.

Dakota wanted to play,

Lily just woke and wanted no

part of playing....so

she got in her box to hide.

Just in case you were not sure 

if she was in there or not, this pic

Every so often she just pops out

to see what is going on!

Yesterday while I was trying to

sweep, Lily just decided to 

crash right in the middle of

what I was doing!

I totally love when she sleep with

her head turned up like this.

Today I brought some dollie

magazines home from mom's. I took the

books out of the box and looked 

down just to see Lily Bit

jumping in the box!

What is it about boxes!?

Then Dakota went over to 

sit by Lily. 

I see these two together it just makes

me so happy! 

They are adorable together!

The fur babes thank for checking 

in on them.

Morning Purrs and Snores

Aren't they just the cutest? 

This was Lily just a bit ago before letting her

on the deck. She is curled up on my

laptop case!

And this is the KING.....

brothers place for home!

He looks so little on the BIG

bed!

 And yesterday before heading home

she decided she liked laying on 

Mooses bed. 

My babes enjoying being home on 

their couch.

Mom sent some pickled okra to

my brother via me and it was

in this box. I took it out and Lily

tried really hard to force herself in 

the box...

the box won!

Furbabes at Ray's

Dakota sometimes goes to the 

barn with me.

I generally don't take him 

if it's really muddy out from rain 

we have had.

I heard Lily meowing up a storm

the other morning.

She is not very vocal so I went

looking for her.

I found her behind the fireplace

screen.

Jumped in from the top and could

not get back out..

While Lily is all over the place

Dakota sleeps.

And here they are together again.

Looks like the Queen is happy.

Here she just lays with Maggie.

And here is where she dropped 

#2 to play with it before 

letting Dakota have 

at it.

11 yrs old.

12 weeks to 10 Months
